Financial Policy

Dental treatment, like gum surgery, is an excellent investment in you, your health and your smile. Dental disease is often progressive and only gets worse with time, so it is important that necessary gum disease treatment not be delayed.

We offer several financial options so that you can obtain the care that you need, at an affordable rate. Our staff will take the time to review your gum surgery and other service options. Our fees are based on several factors including case complexity, time needed for gum surgery, and superior office environment provided by Dr. Schaefer and his staff. We deliver the finest care at a fair cost. Payment for services is expected at the time of treatment. 

Initial Examination

We ask that you be responsible for the payment of examinations/consultations and radiographs that lead to your appointment with our periodontist office in Atlanta.

Once the initial examination is completed and/or Dr. Schaefer has developed a treatment plan, anticipated fees and payment options for treatment will be reviewed with you by a member of our staff. This will be done in a caring, open manner because we believe it is important for you to know what to expect financially. Once a comfortable financial arrangement is established, there is one less thing to worry about as you begin down the path to better dental health.

Payment Options

For your convenience, payments may be made with cash, personal check, Discover, American Express, Visa or MasterCard. For those who would prefer an extended payment plan, outside financing is available through Care Credit®, Chase Health Advance and Citi® Health Card for all of our qualifying patients.
